Service Description

Potters Thumb is holding sessions demonstrating one of the most practiced but also fundamental techniques to build with clay at Black Eye cafe / bar in Sliema, Malta. The class will be setting you up to understand the tolerances of clay and the basic principals / processes to allow you to run with your creativity and building safely with clay whether it is functional ware or sculptural This is a good class to attend if you wish to progress and further your interest in ceramics / pottery An opportunity to get introduced to the basics but also a good refresher if you have worked with clay in the past We will be demonstrating techniques in building with clay using simple hand techniques, demonstrating surface pattern and mark making amongst other advice to work with clay Students per session 6 students Sessions include: - Cappuccino - Croissant or toast - Clay - Good vibes Things to bring - A towel - patience
